This is the place to see all the items that were added to the Corse.
1. SpeedyMoto front axle sliders: Complete the look of the front axle and should be a great help should the un-thinkable happen!
2. Evotech radiator and oil cooler guards: Very well built and fit great. They mount to the stock radiator points and should do a great job keeping the rocks and debris from causing damage.
3. Shiftech CF key guard: Does what it is supposed to do.
4. SpeedyMoto upper triple clamp: BEAUTIFUL! This thing is a piece of art. The gull wing design lets the clipons be raised about 5/8 of an inch and adds a bit more comfort to the ride.
5. Shiftech CF under tank panels: Beautiful! Super glossy and the logo on each side complete the look.
6. SpeedyMoto seven spoke open clutch cover: Lets the sound that annoys all non-Ducati folks out and about. Comes close to matching the design of the wheels.
7. DP gold pressure plate: Could not stand the look of the stock pressure plate. Used it for a target after the gold DP plate was installed.
8. DP stainless steel clutch springs and retainers: Should keep any rust off my Sidi boots.
9. Shiftech CF heal guards: Look cool and have a metal fitting embedded at the mounting points to re-enforce them. Very nice.
10. Shiftech CF heat shield: Again very high quality and gloss finish. I lined the whole inside with aluminum heat shielding in addition to the small area of shielding that comes standard.
11. Shiftech CF rear hugger: Extra long to keep the crap off the rear shock. Also has a small tab that keeps junk from covering the suspension linkage.
12. SuperSprox 40 tooth rear sprocket: The black color compliments the other parts of the rear drive. Had to buy a 2 link longer chain in order to have proper adjustment. With the stock chain, the tire would contact the swing arm when the wheel was adjusted forward because of the larger sprocket.
13. Gold DID Pro chain: Very nice looking with the gold side plates.
14. Shiftech CF chain guard: A bit longer than stock. does what it is supposed to do.
15. DP clutch slave: Made the clutch pull a little softer. Really didn’t need it but it does look nice.
16. SpeedyMoto inside the faring frame sliders: A bit of insurance for track days. Should keep the hard parts from heavy damage.
17. Termingoni CF silencers: Awesome! The db killers are out and it is fun looking at all the leaves falling off trees as I go past. The sound just booms. Really pisses off a lot of people. I don’t care, they can’t catch me anyway and what is behind me is of no consequence.
18. Shiftech CF front sprocket cover: Has a nice set of slots to let the chain lube fly out onto my boots. Works great and looks pretty cool too.
19. Moose Racing heat shielding: Self adhesive and easy to apply.
20. Mirror Block Off Plates: They attach with two stainless bolts for each plate through the holes that the mirror pegs go into and securely hold the fairing to the supports. I don’t remember the brand name but I got the from SportBikeTrackGear. Give them a call.
21. Go Pro HD video camera: This is the coolest thing to come along in a while. With the camera set to record 720p at 60 frames per second the video is awesome! It also shoots 5mp stills. The camera comes with several adhesive mounts and a suction cup mount. I get about an hour of HD video on an 8GB card. Runs around $300 for the kit.

22. Ducati Performance tank protector. Picked up this clear protector the other day. Looks pretty cool and does a nice job of keeping the zipper on my leathers and jackets off the back of the tank. Cost around $20 at your local dealer. (photo coming soon)

That is one good looking bike!
Thank you very much. It is a work in progress.
Hi, not long sold my Desmo, didn’t like the ride too much. I am looking to get a 1198s Corse, as I had a 1098R before the Des and loved it. Yours is a peach, really nice. What sort of costings are the carbon fibre spares that you’ve added, they look really great. Cheers ,and congrats to a great site.
Hey Alistair,
All of the CF parts are on the Shift-tech-carbon.com website. The dealer I work with give me 10% off. Thanks for the comments about the site. I try to update as often as possible.
Tim
Cheers Tim, I think I’m off to purchase one. Then off to the bling factory. Alistair.
Don’t know what noise you are talking about with that Open Dry Clutch. Never reallly rode by a Ducati much, but man I love the noise that thing makes. Would have liked to have heard it wind out.
It makes a glorious rattling noise that is totally Ducati. Open Termi mufflers and dry clutch sound like I am in heaven. When you guys coming back down?
that is the S.H.I.T !!!!
these things go for $40k here in australia. You guys have it sooo good over there.
I wish i was in the US. Living in the wrong country damn it !!
I know what you mean. Some things are good here and some are bad. Thanks for looking at the site.
I have an 1198s and have added a few carbon bits from the Ducati website. Only problem I have come across is that I have fitted a lower carbon chain guard which looks nice but doent look like Ducati do a chain guard that replaces the current top plastic chain guard. Yours looks nice. How hard was it to replace yours. It looks like its tricky to remove the standard one. Can you give me any info. Your bike looks a treat. Well done mate.
Hey Gavin,
The piece is from shift-tech-carbon.com and just glues on top of the stock chain guard. Really easy to do. Send me a photo of you and your bike so I can add it to my “Friends Bikes” page if you like. Later……
Tim
I have been following this site for a while. Could not help myself – went out and flicked my hypermotard and ordered one yesterday. 39k Aussie .Just got to love getting ripped off over here in Australia! Long time dead though . Keep the updates coming.
Brett
Hey Brett,
Good to hear from you. Sucks about the prices they charge in AU. Keep me posted on your updates and if you want, let me know the number of your bike so I can put it on the site. Send a photo too. Thanks for the kind words about the site. I am having a blast with the bike and the site. Later.
Tim
Hey Tim,
Love the modifications. After seeing your mods, I added the following to my white 1198:
New style Termis
Shift-Tech CF hugger
SpeedyMoto Scudo Cover
SpeedyMoto Kukri pressure plate with black caps
Looking to add a few more items from Shift-Tech- maybe the key guard, front sprocket cover and heat guard.
Sounds great. Send me a photo when you get done with your mods so I can put your bike on the site if you don’t mind.
Tim
